Welcome to St Mary's choir blog

We are affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music(RSCM)..

The choir is a four part harmony choir with its main responsibility to sing at the 10am Sunday service, including an anthem.

We do not require any fees to belong to the choir or for any training. New members are always welcome whatever their standard. If you are interested in joining us please contact our Director of Music (Joanna) via the  Contact Us page.

Olivet to Calvary  John H Maunder (1858-1920)

A Sacred Cantata

Recalling some of the incidents in the last days of Saviour's life on earth.

The choir performed this cantata along with a few choir guests.

The soloists were:
Sarah Amos - Soprano
Hilary Platts - Tenor
Peter Webster - Baritone

with our Musical Director Joanna Chivers at the piano.
